Big Tournament this Saturday! Over 100 students registered

This is just a quick reminder about the Omega Inter-school Tournament we are hosting this Saturday, November 7th, at the Springville Studio.  If you have not yet signed up and still are interested, there is still time.  Please come into the office and get registered.

For those that are competing, please make sure to be at the studio for check in between 8:30 – 9:00 AM.   We will be starting the tournament right at 9:00 AM.  Make sure to wear a full uniform (no t-shirts).  The uniform can be either white or black.  If you are sparring, please make sure to bring ALL your gear (including mouthguard and cups for men).  If you do not have gear and are wanting to spar please come into the office this week to make some arrangements to borrow some.

We are anticipating having over 100 competitors so there should be some great competition for! everyone.  The age old questions we always face when running a tournament are: “How long will the tournament last?” and “When is my division going to call up?”  The answer to these questions is: “We don’t know”  I am sorry but there is no way of knowing all the variables that play into running a tournament and how long it will take.  Please be reassured that we are constantly aware of time and making sure the tournament is moving along smoothly and efficiently.  It is our goal to keep all 6 rings running all the time and we will try to provide the best tournament and get everyone completed in a timely manner.

Make sure to bring some snacks and water to stay hydrated and full of energy for your events.
