Omega is excited to announce the beginning of the new Omega Women's Self Defense Class. In the past, this has been offered in a 4 class course. I have had a lot of interest from women who don't want to necessarily participate in our full Omega Martial Arts program, but want to have a knowledge of how to effectively protect themselves. Jeans for Teens Charity Opportunity

Dear Parents and Students: Our awesome Omega Instructor, Sabumnim MaKell Wilson, is spear heading an effort to help out a local non-profit organizations. It is a program called Jeans for Teens. She is looking for gently used pairs of jeans (male and female) to be donated to help clothe children and adults within our local community. It is a very worthy cause and I highly endorse it. Obituary – Jan Davis

Our loving Mom, Nanny, and Shihan, Janice Hope Fulkerson Davis, passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of November 20, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 66 years old. Jan was born July 14, 1948 in San Bernardino, CA to Roy James and Hope Faith Mitchell Fulkerson. She graduated from Pacific High School then moved to Provo, UT to attend Brigham Young University. While attending BYU, Jan met her future husband, Edwin Reese Davis Jr. After she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, they were married in the Los Angeles Temple, then later settled [...]

Funeral Services for Shihan

Students, Parents and Instructors, As many of you have already heard our Master Instructor Shihan Jan Davis, Kwanjangnim Richard’s Mother, and our “Omega Grandma” passed away peacefully this morning after a valiant fight with cancer. Her funeral services will be this Tuesday Nov. 25th. There will be a viewing 9:30 – 11:30am, followed by the funeral at 12 Noon. Changes to Nov 15 Testing

Dear Parents and Students: Due to the fact that Omega has over 50 people testing this weekend in our Rank Advancement Test, I had to do something to make sure we were not here for 8 hours on Saturday testing all the students.  Therefore, I have decided to split the test into two sessions, Friday night and then Saturday morning.  The division goes as follows: 1.  If your student IS TESTING FOR (not what their current belt is) - Yellow Belt, Yellow/Black Belt, Green Belt, Green/Black Belt, & Purple Belt - Your testing time will be Friday, November 14th, from 5:00 pm [...]

Black Belts Dedicate Annual Test to their Master

Omega Martial Arts, located at 875 N Main Street in Springville, awarded twenty-one students and instructors with new black belts at its annual Black Belt test on Saturday, September 27. This year’s test ran deep with an under current of love for their head master, Shihan Jan Davis, who is in the final stages of terminal cancer. Springville Demo Team Takes First Place at Weber State

"This is the Springville Utah Omega Demo Team. We took first place with this demo at the Weber State Electronic Gear Tournament August 9, 2014. The team got a bit behind on the board breaks and missed the last two breaks, but I thought they performed a great job overall. Update to August 16 Rank Testing

Update to May 10th Rank Testing
