Black Belts Dedicate Annual Test to their Master

Omega Martial Arts, located at 875 N Main Street in Springville, awarded twenty-one students and instructors with new black belts at its annual Black Belt test on Saturday, September 27. This year’s test ran deep with an under current of love for their head master, Shihan Jan Davis, who is in the final stages of terminal cancer. Testers set up cameras that live streamed parts of the test to Shihan Jan’s hospital room in a effort to include her in the events. Springville Demo Team Takes First Place at Weber State

"This is the Springville Utah Omega Demo Team. We took first place with this demo at the Weber State Electronic Gear Tournament August 9, 2014. The team got a bit behind on the board breaks and missed the last two breaks, but I thought they performed a great job overall. Dear Parents & Students: There has been a slight change in the pretesting schedule for those students who are planning on testing in the February 8th Rank Advancement Test.  The new pretesting dates and times are as follows: 1st Pretest:  Tuesday, January 28th @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm 2nd Pretest:  Saturday, February 1st @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am If you pass your pretest on the first night you are not required to come to the Saturday pretest.  If you don’t pass on Tuesday then you will need to come on Saturday aswell to finish up. Students who have declared that they want to test and have all their [...]

Omega Awards 26 New Black Belts Saturday

SPRINGVILLE, UT, September 30, 2013 – Omega Martial Arts, located at 875 N Main Street in Springville, awarded twenty-two students and four program instructors with new black belts at its annual Black Belt test on Saturday, September 28. This was the largest test to date in Omega history. Over 320 spectators crowded into the Springville dojang throughout the three day, fourteen hour test to support the black belt candidates.
