Dear Students, Parents, and Tai Chi Enthusiasts in Utah County,
We are happy to announce the addition of Tai Chi/ Qigong to our Springville studio!
Tai Chi/Qigong combine slow, deliberate movements, meditation and breathing exercises. It is non-competitive and non-violent. These low impact moving meditations include standing and balancing. Although qigong and tai chi are excellent fitness activities for beginners and people with health conditions, elite athletes also benefit from doing the slow movements, because they provide mental and spiritual balance to the physical body and a deeper understanding of the mental mechanics of movement and combat.
These practices can be adapted to fit just about any fitness level. Students may practice seated if they prefer.
All will benefit from the opportunity to unite mind and body. Come and see if Tai Chi is for you!
Our instructor, Jenifer Pullman, has been training and teaching Martial Arts here at Omega for 12 years and has recently certified as a Tai Chi teacher with ShiFu Vealynn Jarvis. Jenifer loves the Martial Arts and has a solid understanding of the inner and outer components that comprise Tai Chi and Qigong. She believes in exercise for life and is excited to bring this healing practice to our community.
