This tournament was created in honor of our late Omega Utah President, Shihan Jan Davis who passed away due to breast cancer. Chance Moffett – Gold & Grand Champion

A huge shout-out to Chance Moffett who competed at the Friendship Open Tournament on Saturday won Gold in his Forms division and then went on to win the Forms Grand Champion Award!! TOURNAMENTS: When I was young, I used to LOVE to compete in martial art tournaments!  My favorite thing to compete in was point sparring.  This was back in the day when you weren’t required to wear head gear in a point sparring match (I miss those days).  For your enjoyment, I have included a picture of me in one of my very first tournaments (I’m the white belt on the right – pay no mind to the shaggy, bowl cut).
